PiKart.in, is a B2B online marketplace designed and developed for companies/enterprises in the Indian Generic Pharma Industry space. It enables online, real-time buying & selling of Pharmaceutical Ingredients. The present version handles Pharma Raw Materials/APIs/Bulk Drugs. The Manufacturers of APIs, FDF( Finished Dosage Forms) Manufacturers and API Distributors can use the PiKart.in platform to conduct business Digitally and in real-time.
No. PiKart does not own, stock, buy, sell or re-sell any Products. All Products ordered by Buyers are supplied/shipped directly from the Sellers factories. Order fulfillment by PiKart covers pickup from Sellers’ mfg sites & delivery of the Products to Buyers’ sites as applicable, along with Product Invoices from Sellers, and other requisite documents.
The current version of PiKart.in is developed and implemented to handle Active Pharma Ingredients( APIs) approved by the DCGI for use in India. APIs covered under NDPS Rules( Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances) and other Controlled Substances are NOT permitted for sale in PiKart.
User registration on PiKart starts with an initial SignUp using PAN No of the entity as UserID, 2-step verification for Activation of account as Seller or Buyer as applicable. After activation o f account, the User can follow the Detailed Registration Process for Onboarding.

The appropriate KYC documents have to be uploaded wherever asked for.
After completion of all steps of registration & uploading of documents, the same are verified at PiKart end, and then the user is Approved as a Seller/Buyer as applicable.
Currently, the standard documents to be uploaded are a valid Drug Mfg License for each site, ( seller & Buyer), and Wholesale Drug License for Distributors.
GSTIN verification is done through a 3rd party integrated with our platform, while all other documents are verified at PiKart end.
Certificates of Analysis( COA) of each Pharmacopoeial grade being offered for every API being enlisted in the PiStore( Seller). Wherever multiple pharmacopoeial grades are being offered for any certain API, all COAs can be merged into a single PDF and uploaded.
Product prices on PiKart are based on the Current Net Prices( CNP) fixed by Sellers. A nominal commission to PiKart is appended ( ~2 - 3%) and Current Sale Prices( CSP) are computed and these are the effective Prices published for Buyers.
Sellers on PiKart can update their Current Net Prices(CNP) on a daily basis. A specific time-window is assigned every day, to enable Sellers to review and re-publish Prices, MOQ, Ex-Stock Quantity, Lead times. The new prices become effective after midnight ( starting 00.00 hrs).
This happens in 2 steps as follows:
a)Pre-Order: At first step, after Buyer chooses the product, quality grade, quantity, selects Seller and specifies Additional Reqmts( if any), a Pre-Order is generated and sent to the chosen Seller to confirm and accept/reject the Pre-Order( to be done within a specified time limit)
b) Confirmed Order: Basis the Acceptance of Pre-Order by the Seller, the Buyer can view other related details of the intended Order and Supply, as also confirm other relevant details as necessary, and then make the payment, to convert the Pre-Order into a Confirmed Order for processing.
All sizes and types of Finished Dosage Forms (FDF) manufacturers (with own Mfg sites and/or Loan Lic Mfg sites) are eligible to be Buyers in PiKart. A valid Drug MFG License to produce formulations is a prerequisite for Formulation companies. In PiKart, we also welcome API Distributors with a valid Wholesale Drug License, to onboard as Buyers on PiKart, as we recognize their value addition by buying & stocking bigger quantities and supplying to the SME sector in the Formulations industry.

Product prices are dynamic and can be changed daily by sellers. PiKart welcomes API distributors as they buy larger quantities and resell to SMEs in the FDF sector. Along with the mandatory Wholesale Drug License, such buyers must also upload pictures of their warehouse (with dimensions) and evidence of compliant storage conditions.
Buying on PiKart.in is simple. First, SignUp as a Buyer with 2?step authentication and verification. Your UserID is your company PAN (serves as KYC). Once activated, complete registration, submit details/documents, get approved by the Qualification Team, and become a Qualified Buyer.
Complete three steps: 1) Company profile general details, procurement, delivery and quality contacts, payment setup. 2) Site profile for each site, provide name, formulation types and valid MFG License copy. 3) Membership selection choose between free Basic or paid Premium and complete checkout. After submission, PiKart verifies and approves details, and you can start buying.
PiKart will review and approve your Buyer account within 48 hours of submission.

No. Uploading pictures and videos is voluntary for branding and promotion. Your Buyer profile will display whatever branding elements you choose (logo, banner, pics, videos).
Yes. You dont need a website. Once youre a Qualified Buyer, you can start sourcing and procuring APIs.
Buyers must ensure purchased products comply with applicable pharmacopoeial standards in India, Drugs & Cosmetics Act, DCGI rules, and any additional end?use or market requirements. Sharing or seeking methods of analysis (for IH grade APIs) is a joint responsibility of Buyer and Seller.
All sizes and types of API manufacturers( with own Mfg sites Or Loan Lic Mfg sites) are eligible to be Sellers in our marketplace. A valid Drug MFG License with the enlisted APIs endorsed in the same, is a pre-requisite to be an eligible Seller on PiKart.

Likewise, delivery location can be chosen from amongst the single/multiple sites of the Buyers, as per Buyers convenience( and Warehouse licensed by Wholesale Drug Lic, if Buyer is a Distributor). The product prices are dynamic in nature wherein PiKart allows the sellers to change the prices on a daily basis. Sellers payments are secured, since PiKart follows Pre-Payment of Orders from Buyers.

Yes. However, PiKart currently does not handle deemed exports for GST. Transactions must be domestic, and Buyers handle drawbacks/refunds at their own risk.
